Erica Guevara

Erica Guevara is a Project Manager & BIM Manager with Archetype Design, LLC, an architectural design company that provides the highest quality design service, exceptional communication, with conscientious adherence to schedule and budget concerns. At the heart of Archetype Design's excellence is the professional relationships with the clients. Through the Multi-Family, Office, Educational, Retail, Hospitality, Master-Planning and Adaptive Re-Use projects the company is enhancing the human experience by incorporating their clients’ visions. Erica supervises and manages the documentation and QA/QC of all projects, managing projects delivery on schedule, and on budget. She manages the design teams and provides project guidance, thus advancing the company’s, procedures and organization in BIM technology. Erica joined IMLAG in 2020 lending her project management and leadership expertise to the organization. We are happy to have on the team.

Erica received a Master of Architecture degree, bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a Minor in Historic Preservation, from the Savannah College of Art and Design, in Savannah, Georgia. During her career, she has been a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, AIA, ASHRAE, and Girls on the Run (a non-profit organization engaged in mentoring and empowering young girls to gain self-esteem through running and education). She has been a leader in advancing the education of girls/women and their experience with the field of architecture thru these organizations.

Erica began her architectural career in 2006 while at Heery International, Inc., working on diverse projects from Sports Design, Healthcare Design, and Civic Design and eventually managing several projects. She had a keen interest and skill in the advancement of BIM technology for production on projects and collaborating with various stakeholders to help incorporate better processes. This early exposure in her career, fueled a passion for all types of architecture no matter their size, their specific needs, and how to properly execute them at an advanced level. In 2014 Erica joined CGLS Architects, Inc. as an Architectural Project Architect and BIM Coordinator. While performing in the Project Architect role on many complex Educational Design projects, her large job experience was vital to the projects. She successfully developed the company’s course training for BIM. Course curriculum was guided in bi-weekly training sessions and tailored to the specific needs of the team members and projects.

In 2015, she was recruited by Epsten Group, a sustainable design company, as an Architectural Project Manager and BIM Coordinator. She brought her vast years of expertise to bare by spearheading the largest and most complex project in the office under Zoological Design. She worked on all aspects of the design and delivery process for many projects including Zoological, Higher Education, Educational, Small-to-large Job, and Retail design projects. Erica’s passionate approach of integrating high work ethic with excellent organizational skills and effective multi-tasking is exceptional. She is a catalyst for client satisfaction with one-on-one relationship, and honest communication between all stakeholders to achieve a significant project delivery. She is well liked and respected by her co-workers, consultants and clients. She has a positive and driven personality, even during times of stress.

Erica is married with two children and resides in Marietta, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.
