Dr. Owen T. Imachukwu

Dr. Owen Therese Imachukwu is currently a Consultant with Robert Half Legal and previously served as Corporate Manager, Government Affairs at Charter Communications, a Fortune 500 company and provider of telecommunication services in the United States. Dr. Owen is an accomplished business professional with over 20 years of experience delivering results across various industry segments including business, legal, cable, and telecommunication services. She began her corporate career as in-house counsel with two privately owned companies in Nigeria, West Africa, from 1990 to 1999, where she was responsible for advising on company-wide legal issues impacting international trade.

In 1999, Owen transitioned to the cable & telecommunications industry where she handled franchise compliance. In 2002 she joined AT&T, a provider of nationwide telecommunications services, as Docket Manager for four states in the southern region. In 2004, Owen returned to the cable & telecommunications industry handling cable franchise management until 2016. Dr. Owen received a Bachelor of Laws degree, from Ambrose Ali University, Nigeria, Barrister at Law from the Nigerian Law School, Master of Business Administration degree from the Saint Leo University, FL and a Doctor of Business Administration (Leadership) from Walden University, MN.

Dr. Owen is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications, National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications, and Black Doctoral Network. In her various endeavors, Owen exhibits great teamwork and organizational skills, balancing time effectively to fulfill her extracurricular activities and career. Her unique approach of integrating her knowledge of law and business with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, passion for leadership and mentoring, have motivated, inspired, enlightened and transformed those around her positively.
Dr. Owen has, since 2000, held leadership roles at Victory Church. Previous roles include, team leader - children’s ministry, facilitator - Ancient Paths ministry (Family Foundations International), committee member - Hamptons’ home owners association, executive secretary - St. Maria Goretti International (GOGI) (a non-profit organization), facilitator - Women Empowerment Group, and organizer and facilitator - Charter Government Affairs leadership training. Owen is currently a team leader at Victory Church, founder-facilitator of Hour of Healing Prayer Group, facilitator-Fountain of Living Waters Ministry, founding member of St. Maria Goretti Old Girls International (a non-profit organization engaged in mentoring and empowering young women), founding member and Chief Editor of Ambrose Alli University Alumni North America, mentor – Women of Kairos, instructor, dissertation coach and motivational speaker.

Dr. Owen joined IMLAG in 2014 as a senior executive consultant bringing her wealth of experience in leadership, especially women leadership and diversity in the workplace. We are thrilled to welcome her to the IMLAG team. Dr. Owen is married with two children
